After years of anticipation, the long awaited fan favorite, #1 arcade fighter returns to reclaim it's throne... MvC2HD will be released this summer (4 or less months) and a demo is being released this Thursday (Us only, PS3 exclusive). Demo dates for other regions are unknown. This Thursday, April 30, PlayStation Network users will enjoy a free, exclusive MVC2 demo! No need to purchase another game, just download it straight to your PS3 and get ready for some triple tag team action (A big thank you goes out to Rommel Hernandez who helped make this exclusive demo possible).

I'm back now. My computer was screwed up for a few days recently.
Oh, yeah, as you probably already know from having played the demo that it's not HD. My mistake. However there are 3 different character resolution (sprites) to shoose from and all the stage backgrounds have received a face lift, too.
Day one purchase, money's already there, waiting for the full game.
It's rumored July 29th, but I have nothing to back up that statement other than I've seen it mentioned a few times by different people.

So after playing MvC2 for the past week, I've gotta say it was worth the wait. The only thing that's given me any issues is the random search for online opponents. Inviting friends, though, is flawless (so far).
i got but havnt goot too much play time with the wife takin over my tv, but connecting to other players sucks, but other than that its great. single player is hard as hell compared to my old xbox version on easy
