"Survival"mode and the Reward Shop

Reward Points you earn by playing "Survival" mode can be spent at the all new Reward Shop where you will be able to exchange them for all sorts of gear! They can be equipped onto your characters in other game modes too! Set yourself apart from the crowd!

Just to confirm, MGO is definitely region locked. I sent an email enquiring about it, this really sucks!!!!

The shop should be working now if you guys were having problems. Managed to get it this morning. The new maps are great, one even includes mounted machine guns and motars. The new characters kinda suck though. Johnny can see all traps on the field but can't link to SOP (for obvious reasons) so it makes it difficult to coordinate with the team. Meryl just has like LVL3 Handguns or something, haven't been her enough to know for sure. The characters are picked at random (like Snake for the sneak mission). Red team gets Meryl, Blue team gets Johnny.

Also, note that the knife will NOT lock onto a stunned enemy any more, you'll have to go prone and stab to kill him now. this goes fo the tazer anyway, not sure about tranqing and cqc throws

Hopefully I'll find time to play some MGO this week.

So I bought the expansion pack plus yesterday. I only got around to the Tomb of Tubes, but it really looks great. I know it's not a big thing, but I'm really impressed with the rolling water. It's probably the best work on water that I've seen on PS3. Like I said, It's not a big deal, but I'm all the more impressed with it. Well, I'm off to check out the other new maps.
