lol my first reaction was "now what"..

It's like one of those things you can't wait to have, and when you have it the feeling is just kind of empty. But this is mostly because i have no games that support trophies, unless MGS4 has them :/

In game XMB is sort of laggy, but it feels right, like it was suppose to be with the playstation from day 1. (and as Ray will shortly rant about, most games dont allow music to be played in game

)

I hear Super Stardust is the only game right now to have trophies. I booted it up this morning and sure enough after patching the game... TROPHIES!!!! this is gonna be awesome!

Well, Sony has pulled the 2.40 download because it really screws up your machine (shocker). I seem to be unaffected, so I'll be keeping the update. As for those who missed out, don't worry... Sony has stated the issue is a relatively easy fix, just that it's a bit time consuming.

"we've received no reports of hardware issues following a successful install," so those of you who have already installed the firmware have nothing to worry about.

doesn't seem like its a problem if its working on your system. good thing i installed before i left for work yesterday or i'd have missed out. managed to nab some trophies in Super Stardust too
