EA just made the original red alert a free download. and red alert 2 free with pre-order of red alert 3. not to bad if you want to catch up on the game.

Can't say i've ever had faith in them from the start. Even back in the early ps2 days i always had a funny viewpoint at them because all they did was crank out half-assed games as quickly as possible

Agreed. Some things never change... EA has numerous games that could be a LOT better if they only invested more (or any) of their time in quality control.
