Because it was awesome

My only gripe was that the plot was utterly retarded. I'll say spoiler warning but its so stupid it won't matter. Because, the whole "revenge" thing can be translated to 'grrr i want to destroy your sun to get energy even though there are billions of other stars in the galaxy'. And also the transformers themselves seemed to take a smaller supporting role compared to the first.

But other than that who doesn't want to see giant robot fights, and a hot female lead.

It was ok, first half was great, second half i sat there pondering why i payed to see it. Action was sweet at parts, but the story was terrible and uninteresting, there is actually a funny article on yahoo about how dumb certain aspects are. I would give it a 6/10

i was surprised to see so many kids in the theater when i went.
i was also surprised to see how many faces Optimus Prime ripped apart
