Since the launch of 1.3, I've been unable to have fun with WRHK. I haven't traded it in to the game store-- yet. I'm hanging on to it for another week or so in hopes that Incognito will re-enable team switching on the player ranked mode. I shouldn't have to make the decision of playing on the same team with my friends, or if I want to rank up. And Incognito DEFINITELY should make that choice for me. Unless they bring back team switching, I'm done with WRHK. Besides, GTA online and Metal Gear Online is right around the corner, and Condemned2's online multiplayer is pretty fun for right now.

I didn't really team switch that much anyway and I only play Warhawk every now and then. But I wouldn't trade it in just yet, not with the new vehicle and snow map coming. But if they suck then maybe u should trade it in.

your getting pretty picky :p

I wouldn't get rid of the game just yet, so many people are complaining about the team switching that Incog will be forced to put it back in.

Yeah, I know. It's the ONLY reason I haven't gotten rid of it yet :D

"Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to check-in and let you know that we are aware of the the lopsided games that, on some servers, are now occurring as a result of Friday's change to allow Team-Switching. We will continue to monitor the global community over the weekend and the team and I will be discussing the data gathered by the SCEA-Online-Services group on Monday.

Remember that this weekend's Team-Switching test is only active on Official Blue SONY Servers -- if you are looking to play or host servers that do not support Team-Switching, please join or host Player or Non-Official Dedicated servers.

Please use this thread to post your opinions and debate so that we can collect feedback in a central location.

Thanks Everyone!"

...Interesting. Hopefully Dylan Jobe realizes his mistake and re-enable team switching with 1.4

"Warhawk Community,

As you all know, we have been tracking the team-switch issue ever since the release of the v1.3 patch on Wednesday.

Simply put, my decision to block team-switching on ranked servers was wrong for Warhawk.

Additionally, in an attempt to get a fix for this mistake deployed in-time for last weekend, we opted to try a simple server-side "poke" that did not involve a patch. This type of fix is of course limited in functionality.

While this "poke" did allow team-switching to work again, it also resulted in no team-balance, thus rallowing some games to devolve into 15 on 2 slaughter fests. Clearly this was not optimal and has been disabled in this morning's scheduled maintenance window (5am Pacific).

As I have always said, we take our community support very seriously. Most of the time it is relatively straightforward because we're deploying "happy" patches, giving goodies away, providing solid and fun Booster-Packs, etc.

This team-switching issue represents a mistake that needs to be fixed. Officially putting it outside the realm of our standard "Rainbows-n-Ponies" updates. That said, we are *always* 100% committed to supporting our players -- even in a "zero-pony" situation.

So where does this leave us? -- the Warhawk v1.31 patch.

We started on the patch this weekend while forums were, shall we say, very active :-) and development will be completed today and a build delivered to our regional QA teams for testing and approval. Everyone is working hard to get this fix deployed globally *before* the Booster-Pack is released on April 17th.

The v1.31 patch is focused on fixing the team-switch mistake -- reinstating the Team-Switching, Team-Randomization, *and* Team-Roster-Balance server options.

In addition, we are removing the "unlimited score" option from the Game Options screen. This was an open invitation to padding as many of you correctly pointed out here on the forums.

I want to extend my apologies for this crap-tastic inconvenience and I thank you all in advance for your patience this week while we perform our final testing on the v1.31 patch.

-dylan"

Dang, so not even unlimited score for DM? that whomps.
